Our test labs are equipped with test frames capable of forces up to 18 million pounds, pressure systems up to 60,000 psi, and a variety of equipment for application of various extreme environments and test conditions.

About The Role:

We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our testing facilities. As an active member of the testing team, this role will drive troubleshooting and repair, as well as maintain a wide range of test lab equipment while working collaboratively with our Engineers. You will have the opportunity to ensure our industrial testing equipment and systems are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is an onsite opportunity located in Waller, TX.

Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in test lab equipment.
    • Install, maintain, and repair both low voltage instrumentation panels and hands on experience with medium voltage (480V) industrial panels.
    • Interpret and work from schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
    • Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities, accurately documenting work completed.
    • Consistently comply with safety standards (industry and company-wide) to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or electrical setting (education/training may be considered in lieu of experience).
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, troubleshooting, and the National Electrical Code.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with skills in troubleshooting basic electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong safety knowledge/awareness and experience adhering to stringent safety regulations required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong PC skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to follow instructions (oral and written) while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate in English (written and verbal) and can lift up to 50lbs
  • Willing and able to work overtime which may include occasional work after normal business hours, weekends, or night shifts.
  • Must be able to obtain an US passport without restrictions
  • Valid driver’s license (some occasional driving may be required).

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree is a plus (i.e. Electrical Technology)
  • Journeyman electrician status is a plus
